Agustin Cartaya

PhD Student in Medical Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence

About Me

I specialize in medical image analysis and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on brain MRI and the development of deep learning methods for brain data processing. My research explores generative models for medical image synthesis, structural brain analysis, and longitudinal modelling, with the aim of characterizing and understanding changes in the human brain across individuals and over time. More broadly, I am interested in developing computational methods that can contribute to a better understanding of brain structure, cognition, and behavior.
